The sharp looking Canyon Hills 9 &
10 year old All-Star team got off to a slow start spotting a
very good Upland National team nine run in the top of the first
inning, but once the first game jitters subsided, Ryan Wilcox
came in and held them to only one run in the next three
innings. Konnor Zickefoose made an outstanding catch to end the
top of the third inning inspiring Canyon Hills to mount a come back in the
bottom of the third by loading the bases, but eventually they came up short. The team
looks forward to their next game with a determined attitude to show how they can really play.

In their second game, the Canyon Hills
9 & 10 year old All-Stars showed their true colors.
The team was led by some great pitching from Keith Olsen. Keith pitched a complete game, giving up
only one run and striking out seven.
Anthony Seminaris led the offence with two double and two singles. Joey Long, Garret Gomez, Emmanuel Chege, Jacob Cullers, Travis Booth and Bryan Harwood reached base a combined 15 of 17 times to help give the teams its first victory.

A very good team from Montclair started off strong
scoring three runs in the top of the first inning, but the Canyon Hills 9 & 10 year old All-Stars
didn't give up. They scored runs in the second, third and forth to take a five to four lead.
Awesome defensive plays in the forth and fifth inning by Jacob Cullers helped hold Montclair down while
the mighty Canyon Hills bats came alive, scoring five runs in the fifth. All thirteen players played
excellent team baseball to record their second victory. |
